Equipment Rental Terms and Conditions and Rates

Please note that these prices are for the Johannesburg branch, please call Cape Town office for their prices.

All prices are shown at the daily rate. Please consult the table for discount rates for periods longer than 3 days and for weekends. All prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. We have a wide range of lighting equipment so we will probably have what you need — but it will help us if you can pre-book with a couple of days’ notice. Hire bookings can be made by telephone, fax or in person.

HOURS OF TRADE:

Singer Photographic is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

COLLECTION AND RETURN:

Equipment can be collected after 12 noon and must be returned by 9:30am. All collections and returns are to be to Singer Photographic’s Offices.

ID AND PAYMENT:

Customers who wish to hire equipment must provide a valid passport or ID document. All Payments are to be made in advance by cheque, credit card or cash. A valid credit card number must be supplied as a guarantee.

Equipment is supplied with bags/carry cases. If the items that you want are not listed, we will be pleased to quote for any equipment that you might need.

LOYALTY BONUS SCHEME:

Every time you hire form us, we will give you a credit equal to 15% of the hire value which can be used against any future purchase of Elinchrom, Manfrotto, Sunpak, Quantum or Lowel equipment. Simply by presenting your invoice for hire of equipment, you will be able to claim the 15% credit.

DISCOUNTED WEEKEND RATE:

The discounted weekend rate is for pre-booked collection any time after 12 noon on Friday and return by 9:30am Monday morning and is charged at the equivalent of just one day.
